Job Summary

The temporary HR Payroll Specialist is responsible for Project Management ensuring the execution and delivery of payroll vendor change project and managing the payroll switch in terms of vendor system and interface with our internal HRIS system.  In addition, the temporary HR Payroll Specialist will assist with the payroll implementation during the testing and go live stage.  We are looking for someone to start as soon as possible for a 3 to 6 months term.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Project Manager for payroll vendor change project with respect to system implementation and interface with our HRIS system
  • Payroll operations during testing and go live stage
  • Support the reconciliation of payroll related accounts. Supporting accounting with required information
  • Support preparation of the annual declarations for the authorities and distribution of tax reports
  • Support for the payment and reconciliation of tax payments
  • Support pension fund reconciliation
  • Support projects and participate in the improvement of HR payroll processes
  • Other day to day ad hoc administrative tasks



Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required; Business or Human Resources disciplines preferred


Work Experience:

  • 3-5 years of solid Swiss payroll experience at a multinational company or consulting company
  • Shadow and expat payroll experience a plus
  • Other European payroll experience a plus
  • Experience in SAP and workday HRIS systems desirable
  • Experience with Swiss labour regulations, social security, pension fund & taxation
  • Experience in managing projects
  • HR generalist experience desirable


Technical Skills: (Certification, Licenses and Registration)

  • Professional certification in Swiss Payroll desirable
  • Excellent MS Office skills, especially Excel
  • Accuracy, attention to detail and ability to work towards deadlines
  • Analytical skills


Language / Communication Skills:

  • Strong oral and written communication in both German and English
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and relationship management skills
  • Ability to influence people and thought processes without direct authority
  • High confidence level and ability to remain calm and focused to enable teams to come to agreement on next steps
  • Solid interpersonal communication across multi-cultures.
