During a busy and festive five days, from March 8 to 12, gategourmet participated in Internorga, an international trade fair that takes place every year in Hamburg, Germany. Internorga is the abbreviation for International Trade Fair for the Catering, Hotel and Restaurant Industry. The exhibition is primarily aimed at trade visitors and is regarded as the leading trade fair for the out-of-home market.
As part of our food solutions business, gategourmet, has developed a portfolio of frozen to fresh sandwiches. At Internorga we showcased our products in the GenussGARTEN, an area inside the fair where companies present products and snacks from the catering and fast-food sectors that highlight trends in on-the-go catering.
Our food solutions team was on site to present our product range including our frozen sandwiches, ready meals, component bags and new developments such as vegan products. One of the highlights was our frozen production – frozen Sandwiches, produced in our Unit in Hannover and Ready Meals, produced in our facility of Evertaste in Alzey. We met visitors as well as current and potential business partners from a wide variety of backgrounds and needs such as hotels, catering companies, student unions, gas stations, wholesaler, railway companies and canteen restaurants, just to name a few. We received wonderful and supportive feedback throughout the event, saying that our tastes and products were relevant and reflective of current trends.
Internorga 2024 was a complete success! Five days full of networking, insightful exchanges and business opportunities, we can’t wait to go back next year!
