At WTCE 2026, the gategroup booth is set up to show what our capabilities look like in practice, across onboard experience, operational know-how, and the details that help our partners deliver consistent service at scale. Expect clear proof points, dedicated areas to explore, and the teams behind the work available for direct conversations.
A key experience at the booth is deSter’s “Care fueled journeys,” focused on sustainable packaging, premium tableware, and how design shapes onboard hospitality. The concept is structured around three zones: Abundance, Ease, and Appreciation. Each zone is designed to highlight specific elements of the passenger experience, from the emotional impact of presentation, to the practical simplicity of use in a cabin environment, to the finishing details that make service feel more considered.

Within this area, you will also find a dedicated space featuring Belgian interior architect and tastemaker Gert Voorjans. Voorjans is recognised for richly layered environments that fuse East and West, and for an aesthetic that is vivid, eclectic, and deeply human. His design philosophy aligns closely with deSter’s “Care UX” approach, with a focus on warmth, comfort, and atmosphere, what he refers to as gemütlichkeit, the sense of warmth and good cheer that turns a space into a feeling. Voorjans will deliver a keynote on Tuesday at 10:00, and will share ideas that helped inspire the Abundance zone in particular.

Retail-on-board capability will also be represented at the booth, with a focus on how data-led design and the right enabling technologies can improve programme performance. The approach centers on three pillars: data, technology, and communication. Data supports decisions on assortment and what is likely to perform. Technology helps enable a smooth end-to-end retail journey. Communication ensures the offer is presented clearly and consistently, supporting both crew and passenger engagement. Together, these pillars are designed to help partners build retail programmes that drive profitability, supported by a wider network of technologies and suppliers that enable reliable execution.
Additional booth content will cover train business, lounge services, and food production expertise.
